I am very excited about this one! 😇😇😇 Before half term, Year 2 were reading some stories written by award winning author Ronda Armitage and illustrated by her husband, David Armitage. These were The Lighthouse Keeper’s Lunch and other stories with Mr and Mrs Grinling. The children wrote some letters to the character, Mr Grinling in their English lessons so I posted them to Ronda and David Armitage. I also sent them some Jet Set Angels. I received an email during half term from David Armitage with the most amazing personalised illustration...complete with a Jet Set Angel!

This Angel now lives in Crime Writer Neil White's study. He is Mrs Carlile's favourite author. His next series is based around the Burnley area and as he has a queue of people wanting to be murder victims in his books, she has offered to be one of the murderers!
