Maths:

LO: To compare lengths.

In maths this week we are continuing with measure. Today you are going to compare lengths, a little bit like you did on Friday last week.

You need to watch the video carefully below, pausing it when you are asked to complete activities. Then you have a worksheet to complete that I have attached below.

English:

LO: To engage with a text.

This week Year 3, we are going to base all of our English lessons on a Jaqueline Wilson book. You may have heard of her, she is a famous children’s author. The book we are going to be focusing on is called The Suit Case Kid. I would like you to click on the link below, and follow the instructions from the teacher throughout the lesson. Any activities she asks you to do, you need to write them into your lined paper books.

RE:

LO: To understand why Jesus spent 40 days in the desert.
Today we are going to look at why Jesus spent 40 days in the desert. He went into the desert to become closer to his Father and listen to God. Whilst he was in the desert for 40 days, he didn’t have anything to eat or drink. He was tempted many times by Satan, the devil, but he explained why he was listening to his Father in Heaven. Watch the video to understand it a little more.

During Lent, we also try to make good choices and not give in to temptation. This is how we remember what Jesus did for us. Once you have watched the video, I want you to look at the worksheets I have attached below. I would like you to complete these either on the sheet or into your lined books.
