Here is your homework to be completed by next Thursday 20th May.

English

Please complete the different types of sentences worksheets in your book. You will need to identify what type of sentence has been written, then re-write each one with the correct punctuation in your best handwriting.

Maths

This week, we have been solving fraction word problems. Please answer the 8 fraction word problems in your book. You may wish to draw pictures of the fractions to help you. Make sure you write a sum for each question! 

Once you have completed your homework, please bring your green homework book back to school on/before Thursday so that your homework can be marked and have new homework stuck in ready for Friday.

Children who do not complete their homework in time will be asked to complete it during their lunch hour.

*Please remember to read EVERY DAY!* Reading is so important and is a school requirement. I am checking reading diaries every day for comments from home and team points are awarded for regular reading.

Reading diary book check and change days are Mondays and Thursdays. Make sure you are ready for a new book on both on these days. If you need your book changing in between these days, just hand in your diary and book and we can do that for you too.
