Task 2

Phonics

Click on the link - Short vowel song then click on Flossy words.

Play the SPLAT GAME - Write these words on separate pieces of paper:

kiss    hiss    pass    huff    puff   cuff   till    fell    bell

You will need a large spoon.

Place the pieces of paper on the floor so you can see the words. When your adult says one of the words you have to SPLAT the word.

Enjoy Splatting. 

Read the Phase 2 words power point. If you need to segment (chop) and blend that is fine. If you can read them without segmenting and blending that's brilliant. 

Task 3

PD - The Alphabet Challenge

Look at the alphabet below and there are exercises per letter. I am going to give you some words and you have to do the exercises for each letter. Look at M and F I don't want you doing cartwheels or somersaults, you can change the exercise.

3. zap

4. let

5. den

Can you make up a word and do the exercises for that word?
