We were paleontologists for the day!
We’ve been exploring seasides in our new spring topic. So here we have been describing seasides in our writing area, completing eye spy addition challenges, building sandcastles in our sand pit, exploring our tuff tray seaside with sea creatures, completing ocean jigsaws, designing sandcastles, reading books about the seaside and making sea creature crafts! We have been doing all these extra activities to extend our learning from our year 1 curriculum!
Celebrating Valentine’s Day by writing cards and making hearts for our families!
Identifying and classifying animal diets, measuring and comparing mass, writing post cards from the Arctic, making Arctic pictures, solving a continents jigsaw, constructing igloos, retelling our ‘’Lost and found’ story through stick puppets and enjoying our new polar region tuff tray!
