Welcome to Year 1

Welcome to the Web Page for Year 1 2017-2018.

Mrs Clough is the Year 1 teacher. Mrs Byrom also teaches Year 1 on Tuesday mornings and all day Wednesday. Mrs Glynn and Mrs Rushworth support the children in class.

HALF TERM CURRICULUM MATRIX

YEAR 1 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please remember to send in the children's Book Bags every day as they are expected to get out their Reading Books and diaries. We will check books daily and try to hear every child read individually at least once per week. Don't forget to write in your child's diary each time they read, whether it be a school Reading Scheme book or another book from home. We always give out Team Points for reading!

We will change Library books every Monday so please ensure that the book is in your child's book bag so that they can choose another.

We have PE every Monday with Mr Kelly and Tuesday morning with Mrs Byrom so please ensure that your child's PE kit is in school.

Homework will come home on Wednesday to be returned on Friday. Phonics Homework will come home on Friday to be returned on Wednesday.
