The Solar System
What a great topic this has been! Perhaps one of our most exciting lessons was when we looked at the phases of the moon. We recreated the phases of the moon using oreo biscuits and our pieces of work were outstanding!
Forces
Year 5 had a fantastic afternoon planning, carrying out and concluding an investigation. Our question was: Does the size of a parachute affect the time it takes to reach the ground? We made 3 parachutes of different sizes and enjoyed dropping them from a certain height. We learnt lots about air resistance and our written work was of an excellent standard. Well done Year 5.
