St. John The Baptist is a thriving Catholic School with provision for children from 3 to 11 years old. We are a Voluntary Aided school within the Salford Diocese and are situated in Padiham.

We, the staff, Governors, parents and pupils feel that we have a very special school which is built on the principles of Catholic life.  We are very proud of the behaviour, achievements and talents of our pupils who thrive and eagerly embrace all the opportunities that St. John’s has to offer on a daily basis.

We are blessed with a team of dedicated and talented staff who discover and celebrate our children’s many talents. They work tirelessly to ensure our children are nurtured, supported and challenged in order to achieve their true potential.

St. John’s is a truly special place with a very tangible ethos that permeates through all that we do here. Our schools mission statement is to follow Jesus’ teaching and to ‘Love one Another’.  This underpins our values and permeates through all aspects of school life and is a visible strength of both our school and Nursery.
