Good morning Year 3!

 

I hope you are all smiling today and looking forward to next week! I certainly am!

 

Today you have 3 tasks:

 

1. Maths

2. English

3. French

 

I would also like you to do some reading and play on TTRS... I can't wait to see how good you all are at your times tables when we come back to school next week!

LO: To add lengths.

Today’s Maths lesson is all about adding lengths.

You need to watch the video carefully below, pausing it when you are asked to complete activities. Then you have a worksheet to complete that I have attached below.

LO: To answer retrieval questions.

Following on from yesterday, today you are going to be answering retrieval questions on the book The Suitcase Kid. I would like you to click on the link below, and follow the instructions from the teacher throughout the lesson. Any activities she asks you to do, you need to write them into your lined paper books.

French

LO: To revise classroom instructions

Bonjour! In our lesson today we are going to revise classroom instructions. Please click on the powerpoint below and then view as slideshow. There is a link to a youtube video on classroom instructions - you only need to watch the first 12 minutes of the video (you can watch to the end if you want to!)

Once you have watched the video, read throug all the slides. There are three slides with matching activities to complete in your book.

Your final task is to create a poster of 6 classroom instructions. Write the 6 instructions and then draw a picture to show what the instruction means.
