Task 1: Make a sock puppet and practice segmenting/blending sounds!
Teach your puppet a new word by sounding it out! For example "pat" P..A..T ....Pat!
Take turns with your mummy, daddy, sisters and brothers to sound out words for your puppet to guess!

Remember you have your sound mats at home - test your sock puppet to find S, A, T, P, I, and N.
Task 2: Numberblocks. Find the sheet in your pack. Use objects to match up to the amounts each numberblock is worth. Next, choose two numberblock groups and put them together and count the total both groups make when they are together. Separate them back onto the sheet and try two new amounts. Repeat once more.
