Hello Year 2,

I am so proud of you all for working so hard over the last few weeks. Your work has been super and is getting and better every day! You have done some amazing, creative writing, great maths, excellent reading and fabulous topic work, I am excited to see what we manage to achieve next term! Have a good rest over half term and enjoy spending time with your families and friends. 

Here is an Easter project I would like you to have a go at over the holidays!

Since our topic this half term has been 'On the Farm', over your Easter holidays, I would like you to create a farm scene of your own! You could make a dairy farm, arable farm or livestock farm! You can use any materials that you like to make the farm features and the animals in it. Please be creative! 

Once you have completed your farm project, please take a picture of it and send it to my email Year2_Home@st-john.lancs.sch.uk or put it on the school blog. I am excited to see your designs!  

*Please remember to read EVERY DAY!* Reading is so important and is a school requirement. We will be checking your reading diaries on the first day back at school, please make sure you earn lots of team points for regular reading!

Reading diary book change days are Mondays and Thursdays. Make sure you are ready for a new book on both on these days. 

PE days are Mondays and Thursdays, please make sure you have a full indoor and outdoor PE kit for these days.

AFTER HALF TERM, HOMEWORK WILL BE SET IN HOMEWORK BOOKS AND INSTRUCTIONS WILL CONTINUE ON OUR CLASS PAGE, PLEASE BRING BACK TO SCHOOL YOUR GREEN HOMEWORK BOOK READY FOR FRIDAY HOMEWORK!
