Today during assembly we were visited by some of the Burnley FC Women's first team players, along with the Head of BFC Women. After the assembly, some children got to practice some skills with the players.
The children really enjoyed the visit and we would like to say a huge thank you to our visitors for taking the time to come and see us.
Our Caritas Behaviour Award theme for Spring 1 was 'Helpful and Giving'. Well done to our winners who were announced in today's assembly;

Well done to the children who proudly represented St Johns at this event! They had a physical afternoon completing 8 stations of PE skills and showed great determination and team work.

There is a place for a Parent Governor on the Governing body of our school. Governors are elected by the parents of pupils at this school to serve a 4 year term of office. You may, if you wish put yourself forward for election using a application form which is available from the School Office. As Ash Wednesday fell during the half term break, Fr Joseph came in to school this morning to give the children and staff their ashes.
