LATEST NEWS!
On Monday 15th April, Imran visited our school to deliver an assembly and individual class workshops teaching about Islam. All of our children and staff thoroughly enjoyed Imran's visit and learnt so much about the 5 pillars, prayer, Ramadan, artefacts, stories about the Prophet Muhammad and charity.
On Friday, some classes visited Father Joseph to deliver class birthday cards and to sing happy birthday to him. We hope he had a lovely weekend celebrating!
On Tuesday 22nd April, the Faith Friends visited St. Mary's School in Clayton-le-Moors to attend their GIFT Team workshop. The theme of the workshop was around the constant need and demand for food items from our local food banks. They met the very inspirational, Pastor Anne, who had also been homeless herself, when she moved from France to London, and needed to use food banks to help her out. Guardian Angel cards were made, so that they can be given to people who visit the food bank at Clayton-le-Moors Baptist Church which is the church that Pastor Anne runs. There was a quiz and the Faith Friends won! They scored a perfect 8/8. The prize was £10.00, which the Head Teacher gave out of his wallet, and a £5.00 book voucher. The prize will be used on R.E. resources. The morning finished with a lovely liturgy.

On Friday 19th April, Choir went to St Augustine's RC High School to take part in their production of The Conversion Job. This is the story of how St Augustine was sent by the Pope to come to Great Britain and convert people to Christianity.
The choir sang 2 songs and were an asset to our school.
I am so proud of them. Well done.
Here are a few photos of us on stage!
